Diana Panton connects with her music

Working with a group of very talented musicians that includes Don
Thompson (bass/piano/vibes), Reg Schwager (guitar), Bill McBirnie
(flute) and Maninho Costa (percussion), Panton runs through
Brazilian-infused tunes like ‘Samba Saravah,’ ‘Manha de Carnaval,’
‘So Nice’ and ‘The Telephone Song.’ Panton also gives quiet interpretations
of Lennon/McCartney’s ‘And I Love Her/Him’ and the 1963
Bobby Vee hit, ‘The Night Has A Thousand Eyes.’ Whether singing in
French or English, Panton’s light, airy voice floats through the air
like a warm summer breeze. Marvelous stuff.
